Overview
I began mountaineering in 1969 when I was 13, climbing in the Americas and Europe over the next decade. I earned a PhD in physics, mathematics, and computation in Texas in 1986, moved to NY and started a software company offering business automation and consulting for customers nationwide. Explorations in the ceremonial use of psychedelics took me on many trips to South America and, in 2002, I began research and apprenticeships in brain training and neurofeedback. Going beyond neuropsychology, I certified as a hypnotherapist in 2007, and as a clinical counselor in 2020.
My approach is psycho-enabling, not pathological. I am deeply committed to learning and exploration. Regardless of your obstacles, I work to amplify your opportunities. My tools are everything I know, which includes experience in cultures and situations of all sorts and places. I emphasize your ability to build your reality and develop your brain. I find strength in every person's obstacles, and I grow with every client I help. I continue my work in all areas, and I encourage everyone to live their lives to the fullest.
