Overview

As a teen, young adult or adult, holding your own emotional space—especially with family—is a powerful way to support your mental health.

Your teens, 20s, 30s and beyond, are a time where you might find yourself getting into a serious relationship, welcoming a child into the world, or coping with the death of a loved one. These transitions often come with shifting family roles and expectations, which can make it difficult to maintain healthy boundaries with the people closest to you.

That’s where I come in. As a therapist, I can help you to clarify, set, and navigate boundaries that support your personal growth, values, and the connections you have with others as well as navigate and identify strategies to cope with anxiety that comes up naturally during any transitional period in life. During our time together, we’ll identify the boundaries most important to you. We’ll also process feelings like guilt or shame that might come up around setting them and create strategies for communicating your needs effectively.
