Eva Teirstein Young is a licensed Creative Arts Therapist and has been in the field for over 20 years. She maintains a private practice in NYC where she sees children, adolescents and adults. Ms. Teirstein Young treats patients with a variety of problems of living including anxiety, depression and dissociative disorders. She has worked at Kings County and Bellevue hospitals and spent many years working with children and families in foster care at The NY Foundling Hospital. She is a graduate of the Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program at The William Alanson White Institute and received a certificate from the ISSTD in The Assessment And Treatment Of Traumatized Children And Adolescents With Dissociative Symptoms and Disorders. Ms. Young is on the faculty of the Graduate Art Therapy Department at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY.
