Mindwork
Carolyn Ehrlich

AT MINDWORK, therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we focus on the obstacles you currently face and how you may overcome them by building self-awareness and insight. Motivated patients with a commitment to the process will find themselves in a safe, private and confidential environment that allows them to heal, strengthen and develop a positive and engaged outlook on life. MINDWORK utilizes diverse theoretical approaches that are determined by the specific presenting issues. CAROLYN EHRLICH, LCSW is the founding member of Mindwork and received her MSW at New York University. She is licensed to practice psychotherapy in New York State.

A welcoming psychotherapy practice conveniently located in SoHo.

So here you are, you have made the first step. It is important to find the right fit in a therapist and to see if therapy is the right fit for you. This may take a bit of looking and a bit of time. It is my experience that therapy has the ability to profoundly improve quality of life. It has done so for me and for the people I work with. We are a motivated, curious, caring, intelligent, hardworking, and tenacious bunch. So no need to tackle your dilemma on your own. You likely have tried this already. I have experience working with a variety of challenges that you may be facing including: mood; relationships; work/professional development; sex/sexual dysfunction; trauma; life transitions; lgbt. I will suggest that you pay careful attention to your health, diet, sleep, exercise, and overall self-care patterns. We together, will aim to give you every advantage in overcoming your challenges. I practice an interactive form of therapy that motivates you to acquire a gentle and steady discipline. This approach will provide you with a foundation and structure that you will be able to implement during and between sessions. I accept most forms of health insurance and have a sliding scale fee schedule, as i believe that therapy should be financially accessible to you. Please check out my site: www.mindworkny.com
