Paul McNulty, LCSW
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in private practice I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of concerns including relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, anger management, and addictions. I believe individuals have within themselves the strengths and resources necessary to overcome their obstacles and grow into maturity. I collaborate with each client/family/couple to develop and achieve their desired goals.
My work with families and couples is focused on improving communication and creating solutions to problems and rebuilding warmth and love back into relationships. I integrate Family Systems Therapy with Cognitive/Behavioral strategies to meet the needs of each individual or family I work with. I also have 18 years of experience, working with troubled teenagers and children both in educational/therapeutic settings as well as private practice.
Finally, as a father and husband I have a desire to see men grow into maturity and heal from childhood and emotional wounds. I specialize in dealing with the specific needs of men and am passionate about facilitating men through the healing process. In addition to the above issues, I work with men around family of origin struggles, sexual abuse, sex addiction, overcoming compulsive behaviors, drug/alcohol abuse, self esteem, vocational/career issues, life purpose and spiritual direction.
_oWhen we acknowledge that all of life is sacred and that each act is an act of choice and therefore sacred, then life is a sacred dance lived consciously each moment. When we live at this level, we participate in the creation of a better world.'
--Scout Cloud Lee
_oWhat I do you cannot do; but what you do I cannot do. The needs are great, and none of us including me, ever do great things. But we can all do small things, with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.'
