Would you like to take control of your life?
Do you repeatedly find yourself in love relationships that hurt?
Do you have a relationship with food and your body that is hurting you?
If your goal is to recover from an eating disorder, resolve a conflicted relationship, reduce stress and anxiety, move more easily through midlife issues, free yourself from past hurts and trauma, experience more inner peace, happiness and joy, or lose weight for good, then I would like to help. My approach to psychotherapy is based on the belief that you, the client, are the best authority on yourself. With my training and experience, together we can work collaboratively on a treatment plan that's just right for you to help you achieve your objectives as quickly and effectively as possible, while empowering you to know and trust your own inner strengths.
Each of us would like to experience life to the fullest--the most love, joy, health, success, and happiness possible. To the extent that we can know, understand, and communicate who we are, we can make more of our dreams come true.
In the pursuit of our dreams, life often requires us to negotiate unexpected twists and turns on the path leading to our destination. Unresolved losses, failures, and hurts from the past may get in the way of our dealing with life's bumps in the road effectively, and some of the simplest tasks can become overwhelming.
I invite you to join me in a therapeutic process through which new ways of resolving problems are explored, increased understanding and awareness of yourself and others are achieved, communication skills are enhanced, and the past is healed, thereby opening new passageways toward deeper, more fulfilling relationships and greater success in all areas of your life.
The opportunity is for you to become more of who you were meant to be and to have more of what you have always wanted.
