Kathleen Kesten, LMFT
In my view, relationships are what provide us with what is most important in life. It's when relationships breakdown that we might seek out some help. As a psychotherapist, I can be that nonbiased observer with a different perspective.
My goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their personal concerns. My role is to listen objectively, not be judgemental, and help you to find your own solutions.
I began my professional life as a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner. With that Nursing background, I find a strong connection between our physical health and our emotional health. I work with my clients in understanding this mind/body connection.
I use an integrative approach when working with clients. I am a Certified EMDR Therapist and find this approach to psychotherapy very helpful for clients in my practice in addition to CBT, Psychodynamic, and Family approaches.
My role is to assist you to achieve your own personal goals.
