Hillary Mondry Counseling, LLC
Hillary Mondry, LPC, ATR

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR) offering art therapy and counseling to school-age children and their families, as well as adolescents and adults. I use a combination of talk therapy and art therapy depending on the goals, preference, and comfort level of the client. You do not need to have any artistic experience or skill level to benefit from art therapy! In art therapy, it is the process of art making that offers an alternative means of expression, as well as one that can facilitate the verbal through self-exploration and gaining a greater awareness of self. Engaging in art making also has other benefits that include relaxation and the releasing of tension, and improved mood.

I enjoy working with clients around many issues including:

  • Anxiety
  • Trauma, including sexual abuse, physical abuse, and domestic violence
  • Depression
  • Parenting skills, adjusting to being a new parent
  • Pregnancy loss, birth trauma
  • Life changes and stressors, including loss and grief, divorce, foster care, relationships
  • Behavioral challenges
