Diana Sabados, MA, LCPC, LCPAT, ATR-BC

I am an art therapist and counseIor who enjoys working creatively with individuals, families, and groups. I bring compassion, warmth, and a genuine desire to understand you, your strengths, and your needs in a safe and non-judgmental environment. I understand life situations can significantly impact emotional well-being and leave one feeling overwhelmed and seeking answers. Using a strengths-based and person-centered approach, depending on the nature of the problem, how that problem is experienced by you, and your individual needs, we will work together to uncover a more satisfying and meaningful life.
By combining complementary art therapy and counseling theories and techniques with effective support, guidance, and understanding, you will be empowered to find the answers you seek and make positive life changes. I draw from a variety of approaches including humanistic, cognitive behavioral, developmental, systemic, and existential.
I currently provide services as part of the Expressive Therapy Center in North Potomac, MD. If you are seeking a unique and creative approach for support and guidance with a challenging situation or just looking the change the direction your life has taken, I will gladly speak with you.
