Curtis Counseling, Coaching & Case Management
Linda A. Curtis, LMSW
With over 20 years of experience in the social work field I have developed a wide range of helping people. From counseling, coaching to practical case management I have assisted people going through significant life change and concerns. As women and men we have to deal with relationship, parenting issues, aging parents, children leaving or not leaving the nest, career, educational decisions, spirt/soul crisis and so much more.
Life is constantly changing and sometimes we need just a little bit of help to get back on track. Through indepth conversations, sharing information, creative endeavors... together we will work toward your goal.
Given my training and life's journey I have developed several areas that I specialize in. These include work with families who have aging parents, individuals with developmental disabilities, troubled teenagers and women's issues. Having had an organ transplant myself, I am well experienced in the nature of the transplant world and it's effects. In addition I am a trained SoulCollage® facilitator and run groups throughout the year.
I live in Rhinebeck, New York in the lovely Hudson Valley with my husband and youngest son, two border collies, two cats, guiena hens and koi fish. My husband and I are a blended family with a total of seven children, who have left the nest and now live throughout the country.
I obtained my Master's of Social Work from Fordham University in 1988. I am licensed in New York State as a LMSW.
