Art Therapy & Psychotherapy in NYC
Jennifer Breslow, LCAT, ATR-BC, CASAC

Why am I feeling like this? How could I be happier? Which choice do I make? Why can't I move on? How do I get "unstuck?" People often seek psychotherapy when they are trying to answer an unresolved question. I believe that you already hold the answers to your questions. Therapy offers a space to sift through the distractions – the obtrusive or negative thoughts, the overwhelming feelings, the grip of past experiences and patterns of relating, pressures of society, etc.– to allow these answers to emerge into your consciousness. As you raise awareness, significant change becomes possible.

I specialize in helping people overcome trauma, work through grief and loss (with a special interest in pet loss), cope with anxiety and depression, move through life transitions, heal from the effects of childhood sexual/physical/emotional abuse, and generally live more authentic lives.

It is a challenging and exhilarating task to undertake the journey to know oneself fully and to experience all parts of oneself. We each have a unique story and it would be my privilege and honor to bear witness to yours.

Cash, Check, Credit Card accepted. Cost per session:$90.00 - $110.00
