Ms. Ann Ford, LPC, MA
Counseling can profoundly change lives, and I think the most important aspect of therapy is finding the right therapist. You want to find someone you can trust, who makes you feel understood, and who can offer an outside perspective and expert guidance. In counseling, you can put your thoughts into words without being dismissed or judged. It will help you see the obstacles between you and a more fulfilling life. It gives new insights and tools in managing family conflicts, relationships, personal growth, and the stress of daily life.
My clients enter therapy for many different reasons. Therapy is often sought for a specific problem or to explore and understand problems that have lasted for years. My clients often want help with depression, anxiety, repeating patterns or mistakes in relationships, eating disorders, trauma or child abuse, loss and grief, and life transitions.
In my more than 20 years as a therapist I have worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I now provide individual and couples therapy for adolecents and adults.
Call me at 703-777-9117. I will personally return your call and arrange an initial meeting.
