I believe it is extremely important to provide and to nurture a supportive, secure and empathetic therapeutic relationship. I work very hard to create a nonjudgmental, confidential and meaningful experience for each of my clients. I believe in an individual's self-determination.
For the last 15 plus years, I have enjoyed working with teens and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, relationship conflict, disordered eating/body image and everyday parenting issues. I provide brief initial phone assessments at no-charge and answer my email (firstname.lastname@example.org) regularly. Contact me to see 'if we are a good fit.'
I have spent over a decade on staff at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago (Outpatient Psychiatry) providing therapy for adolescents, individual adults and families.
I have extensive clinical education and training from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor).
I am trained in a very effective type of treatment for anxiety and depression called Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT). One of my approaches is to help clients see things in a different perspective by challenging unproductive thinking patterns.
I provide brief initial phone assessments 773-339-8819 at no-charge and answer my email (email@example.com) regularly. Contact me to see 'if we are a good fit.' Pick up the phone and make the first step.
