Ms. A Susan Brenner, LMFT
I can offer my expertise and experience of 35 years as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in CT and NY City. I can help you either individually or as a couple who is experiencing relationship distress and intimacy issues. I use Emotion Focused Therapy EFT and AEDP to help provide you with insight and perspective into your problems while creating a trusting and safe space. My work is client centered and collaborative using a systemic approach designed to facilitate change. By focusing on your emotional process and attachment needs your experience in therapy is deepened.
As an expert counselor who has written two books and supervised many therapists and interns. I find the process of self discovery using a relational attachment perspective is exciting and challenging. I truly believe that people have an innate potential to grow and heal. You possess the needed inner resources to make these changes happen, allowing the real possibility of both happiness and personal understanding.
