Has arguing gotten out of hand now that you have a teenager in the house?
Are your family relationships strained to the breaking point?
Is the stress and strain from home carrying over into school or work?
The teenage years can be difficult for everyone - for teens, for parents, for teachers and communities.
Teens are struggling to discover their identities and that means sometimes they're hard to be around. When race, gender and sexuality enter the picture - subjects that are often hard to deal with - it's especially tough.
For bi-racial teens, those in mixed-race blended families, adoptees, or those wrestling with sexual or gender identity these years can be even more painful.
When you're not sure of who you are, it's hard to talk with your family about what's going on.
Right now things might seem unmanageable, but it won't always be that way. There IS hope; things will get better and I'd like to help. I stand with individuals and families through life's difficult times. Together we will address your worries and your teen's feelings & behavior with the goal of growing a stronger family that celebrates each member's uniqueness.
Please take that first step toward healing and contact me. I look forward to partnering with you to make life feel better!
