Hello! I am here to support you and/or your family in your healing journy to growth, empowerment and well-being. We all have challenges and experiences throughout our life span that can result in us feeling pain, frustration, feeling stuck and other difficult emotions. These experiences can result in us becoming disconnected with our true selves and unable to live life to the fullest. My goal is to help you connect with your true self so that you can create a sense of aliveness and empowerment. I am committed to being present with you so that we can gain a deeper understanding of what underlies the challenges you are experiencing and work through them together. By utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, I am able to individualize the therapy to your and/or your family's specific needs.
I specialize in working with adults and youth who have experienced trauma (physical/sexual/emotional abuse, attachment disruption, domestic violence), grief/loss, depression, anxiety and women's issues (infertility, body image issues, life transitions). I use an integrative, client centered approach, focusing on the here-and-now experience. I approach treatment from Attachment theory lens and utilize information learned from brain science.  I incorporate Humanistic, Gestalt Therapy, Somatic, Psychodynamic,  Cognitive Behavioral and Family Systems perspectives. I have training in various therapeutic modalities including Gestalt Therapy techniques, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral TherapyCognitive Behavioral TherapyEMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)Play therapy (non-directive and directive), Family Therapy and attachment based Theraplay©.
I enjoy connecting with others in ways that support an increased sense of wholeness and fulfillment. I provide a safe, non-judgmental environment and offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client's individual needs. I look forward to working with you to create the life you want!
