I provide client-centered, evidence-based interventions delivered with compassion, humor and intelligence. My approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy combined with elements of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Art Therapy. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a psychosocial intervention that is the most widely used evidence-based practice for improving mental health. Guided by empirical research, CBT focuses on the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems and changing unhelpful patterns in cognitions (e.g. thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes), behaviors, and emotional regulation. Insurances accepted: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts, Fallon, Cigna, Beacon, Optum, Harvard Pilgrim, United Behavioral Health, United Healthcare, Neighborhood Health Plan, Boston Medical, GIC.
