You've been waging internal battles since you don't know when, and no matter what you do, or how you do it,  few, if any, counter measures  have held the line in keeping this enemy at bay.

Your work performance may be superior, you might be an over-achiever and on the outside, all looks wonderful.

But on the inside you're a mess.

Or, you see you aren't living up to your potential.  You've come to the conclusion that now is the time to step up, but your history just keeps getting in the way.

What it was like for me

  • Emotional Flashbacks:
    • Toxic internal messages, high anxiety, a gut feeling.
  • Relentless internal snipers:
    • Nothing you do is right.
    • You should have known.
    • You don't deserve success.
  • Toxic Shame:
    • Essentially bad.
    • Flawed.
    • Felt in your gut.
  • Feelings of Guilt:
    • It's your fault.
    • It's always your fault.
    • You let everybody down.
  • Feelings of loneliness and abandonment:
    • You panic at the thought of being left out or behind.
    • You feel totally unsupported.
  • Hyper-Sensitive to Criticism:
    • Difficult to take even the mildest form of constructive feedback.
  • Relationship difficulties:
    • They are volatile.
    • Unstable.
    • You give more than you get.
  • Oversensitivity to stressful situations:
    • Tendency to Fight, Fly, or Freeze.
  • Suicidal Ideation:
    • It's been in the back of your mind.

Stop Here.  Take a nice deep breath and take this all in.  Does this describe you?  If so, Life Coaching for Post-Traumatic Growth can get you started on a pathway toward your peace of mind.
